CONCRETE
JONAS BOHLIN
The Concrete chair, made of iron and concrete, was Jonas Bohlin's graduation project at Konstfack in 1981. It caught the attention of Källemo's founder, Sven Lundh, who included it in his collection and produced it in a limited edition of 100 pieces. The design and unconventional choice of materials garnered significant attention in the Swedish furniture world. Concrete changed the prevailing concept of quality.
The Concrete chair in solid ash with a bent steel frame was taken up for serial production the same year.
