HOMMAGÉ Á ROYAL ENFIELD

The Hommagé á Royal Enfield motorcycle was created in 2001 by Mats Theselius for Källemo. 500 CC. Limited edition of 9 motorcycles.

"When I was in Chennai, India, I discovered that the city was full of old English Royal Enfield motorcycles. Many looked brand new. It turned out that the production of these old bikes had continued unchanged since the 1950s when the factory moved from England to India. The character of the motorcycle matched well with my idea of the bike I dreamed of making. My model would have a saddle for one person and a single-cylinder engine with minimal electronics, much like an old moped but slightly larger."
